How To Style a Flower Bun Hairstyle

How To :
- Part your hair the way you like, then separate a one-inch section of hair at each temple and clip those sections out of the way.
- Gather your remaining hair at the nape of your neck.
- Then create two or three low braids, securing the ends with clear elastics.
- Twist each braid until it curls into itself; bobby-pin in place.
- Last, unclip and twist the two pieces by your temples.
- Pin under the braided bun or, for a slightly fancier flourish, tuck their ends into the bun before securing.

How To Make Braided Bun Prom Hairstyle

How To Style :

Step 1 : Brush through the whole of your hair using your hair brush. Then use your styling comb to backcomb the top section of your hair, Smooth over using your hair brush and tie back into a high ponytail.
Step 2 : Now it’s time to split the ponytail into two separate sections to start your prom hairstyle, making sure they are equal in size. Tie one section of the hair with a thin hair band to keep it out of the way.
Step 3 : Braid right down to the ends of the hair section and secure with a thin hair band. Repeat this step with the other section of hair.
Step 4 : Now you need to criss-cross the braids, so take the right braid under the left braid and wrap around the base of the bun as far as you can go, then secure in place with a bobby pin.
Step 5 : Now take the left braid and wrap it around the base of the bun, starting from the right side. Secure in place with a bobby pin, repeating the above step, Finish off by spritzing some hairspray all over to hold in place.

How To Make a Chignon Bun

Steps :
1 : Gather all of your hair in one hand.
2 : Start twisting all of your hair in your hand around 1-2 fingers. Hold your starting point in your other hand as if it were a hair tie (if you have hair that is thick and slippery you may just want to put a hair tie in.
3 : Continue to wrap your twisted pony around your starting point until you reach the end of the pony, continually twisting your finger at the same time to keep the ponytail tight.
4 : Secure the end of your pony with a bobby pin, making sure that it goes as far in towards the center of the bun as possible.
5 : Add extra bobby pins to ensure that the bun will stay in place. I usually use about 3-4, if you have thicker hair or many layers, you may have to use more.
6 : Toussle your hair slightly to give it a 'messy, effortless' look and sprits it a few more times with some hairspray or styling product if needed.

The Crafty Sock Bun Hairstyle

How To Style :

Step 1 : Cut the toe off of the sock.
Step 2 : Roll it over itself to create a donut shape.
Step 3 : Cut the donut shape so it becomes a long roll.
Step 4 : Trim the ends so the roll is the length of the base of your head.
Step 5 : Part your hair in the middle. Spread a dime-sized amount of smoothing serum over your hair to get rid of any flyaways.
Step 6 : Place the sock roll horizontally, a few inches from the bottom of the hair.
Step 7 : Wrap the ends of the hair over the sock and continue to roll up until you get to the base of the neck, adding any loose hair as you go.
Step 8 : Hold the roll in place and secure with bobby pins on each side and above the roll. Don’t skimp — you’ll need a bunch to keep the style in place!
Step 9 : Fan the hair around the sock to conceal and secure with more bobby pins.
Step 10 : And bam

Steps :

1 : Brush your hair, if necessary straighten it.
2 : Get an elastic band.
3 : Make a high ponytail.
4 : Get your bun donut :)
5 : Place it over the ponytail.
6 : Divide the tail into four strands.
7 : spread one of the strands and fold it around the bun.
8 : Take a bobby pin.
9 : Secure the folded hair-strands with the bobby pin.

How To Make a Braided Bun

How To Style :

Step 1 : brush your hair. then make a braid on one or both sides. These can be as big or small as you want.
Step 2 : Tease the back part of your hair slightly to create a bit of a poof on the top of your head.
Step 3 : Pull the braids to the side and pin them at the back of your head (at ear hight) with a bobby pin in the same color as your hair.
Step 4 : Grab all your hair now and make a high, slightly messy ponytail. Pin away any loose ends at the back of your neck.
Step 5 : Braid the ponytail. If you braid it tightly the structure will show best once it's wrapped in to a bun.
Step 6 : Start rolling the braid around the ponytails hair elastic and set the end with two bobby pins or with another elastic (in that case pull some of the bun over it, to cover it).

1 : If your hair is straight, curl the ends with a curling iron. This prevents little hairs from poking out of your bun!
2 : Gather your hair into a ponytail on top of your head.
3 : Pull your hair through one last time, but only half way! Take the loop you’ve created and spread it out.
4 : Take the end of your ponytail and wrap it around the base of the bun.
5 : Secure with bobby pins.
6 : Finish with hair spray! See, that wasn’t so hard!

Make A Holiday Bun For Your Hair

How To Style :

Step 1 : Flip your head over and rake your fingers through your hair to make it all go towards the top of your head, leaving out a bang section.
Step 2 : Once all your hair is smoothly going up, tightly gather it in a fist at the top of your head.
Step 3 : Secure it with an elastic.
Step 4 : Split your pony tail in three sections. If your hair is fine you can lightly backcomb each section to make it bigger.
Step 5 : Hold one section up by the ends and then bring it down so it sits on your head. It will naturally fold onto itself.
Step 6 : Pin at the folds.
Step 7 : Repeat with the other two sections making sure to hide your hair pins and bobby pins.
Step 8 : Pin your bangs back so they connect to your bun and everything flows together.

The Top Knot Hair Tutorial

Steps :

1 : Blow-dry hair straight.
2 : For a super-sleek look , use a flat iron to smooth out the ends.
3 : Part your hair on the side. Leaving out a piece in the front, gather it into a high ponytail.
4 : Pull the front piece back along your ear and around the ponytail. Pin it around the elastic.
5 : Divide the pony into four sections. Twist one section, wrap it around the base, and pin.
6 : Repeat the process with the remaining three sections until a bun forms.
7 : If your hair is layered and spiky pieces pop up here and there, simply pin them into place.

Step 1 : First put your hair into a high pony tail, relatively tight, but don’t pull all your hair all the way through.
Step 2 : Take half of the hair left hanging down and twist and pin it in the front.
Step 3 : This will cover the pony tail holder. Do the same thing with the other side.
Step 4 : Pin down parts of the middle part of the pony so it isn’t sticking straight up.
Step 5 : Then pin some down in the back so the other part of the pony tail holder isn’t showing and you’re done!
